Project Description:
Develop a transportation management plan to get District Department of Transportation (DDOT)permit approval to close Harvard Street for several months in order to install 2 large manholes.

FOXXSTEM was called in by Pepco, an Exelon Company, to complete a Transportation Management Plan (TMP) to support the successful request and approval to close a minor arterial road in the District of Columbia for several weeks. This plan was developed for the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) to support the installation of two (2) – 9’ x 30’ x 18’ electric manholes in the middle of the busy roadway to support the Capitol Grid initiative. The work included traffic, bicyclist and pedestrian counts, VISSIM analysis and a final report.
