Project Description:
The St. Elizabeths East Campus project is a large redevelopment project located in the District of Columbia, transforming approximately 180 acres into a mixed-use development. The project will construct roadway and utility infrastructure within the DDOT’s future right-of-way.

FOXXSTEM provided construction inspection services.The work includes project management, construction inspection, compliance services and handover services. The project features consist of full depth roadway pavement, parking lanes, parking meters, bus pads, bicycle racks, curb and gutter, ADA ramps, sidewalks and pedestrian crossings. Signing and pavement markings, lane indicators, metal signposts, traffic sign panels and traffic signals. Electrical and telecommunications, streetlighting, conduit duct banks and electrical vaults. Fiber optic communication cables and cabinets. Stormwater drainage, sanitary sewer and water networks and green infrastructure including permeable pavement and bioretention facilities. Landscaping, trees, shrubs, structural soil and planting soil. Installation of erosion and sediment control measures during construction and maintenance of traffic during construction.
