Project Description:
The St Elizabeths East Campus Infrastructure and Utility Improvement project will provide connectivity within the East Campus and between the campus and adjacent neighborhoods, upgrade and replace existing utility infrastructure to support the planned development , transforming approximately 180 acres into a mixed-use development that includes office, residential and retail, and provide multi-modal transportation options (public transit, bicycle and pedestrian) to support the redevelopment of the East Campus.

FOXXSTEM is providing roadway and stormwater design services for the District Department of General Services (DGS). These roadways will be delivered to the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) to be added to their system of roadways upon construction completion. FOXXSTEM’s responsibilities include project management, design of the new bus way circulation for the metro station and grading plans to minimize earthwork operations, as well as the storm drain system and bioretention planters and stormwater management permit acquisition from the District Department of Energy and the Environment (DOEE).
