Project Description:
Provide engineering and design or review services for bridge rehabilitation, tunnel rehabilitation, station and parking structure rehabilitation, shaft structural rehabilitation, retaining wall rehabilitation, and any civil and structural engineering design or review.

FOXXSTEM is providing Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) engineering support services for its Architectural and Engineering Services Staff Augmentation needs. FOXXSTEM plays a significant role in supporting WMATA’s Structural Engineering Staff. The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA or The Authority) is one of the largest transit organizations in the United States. Formed in 1967 under an interstate compact among the District of Columbia, the State of Maryland, and the Commonwealth of Virginia, the WMATA service area is approximately 1,500 square miles, with a population of approximately four million people. The Authority provides three core transit functions: Metrorail, Metrobus, and MetroAccess paratransit. Average weekday passenger trips combined on all three modes total approximately one million.
